There are tens of millions of long vertical ladders around the world that are both dangerous and difficult to climb. Vertical Stairs are an alternative to those ladders; and are safe and easy to climb. Vertical Stairs are a breakthrough in ergonomic design that solves the fundamental problem with all long vertical ladders – the unsupported centre of gravity of the climber - that causes the climber to rotate backwards away from the ladder and fall.
Market demand for Vertical Stairs will be driven by OH&S regulations that demand that we use the safest technology available; by ladder climbers - finding that it’s easier to walk up Vertical Stairs than hang by their arms from a long vertical ladder; and by employers not wanting to be sued by workers falling off ladders.

CURRENT AVAILABILITY OF VERTICAL STAIRS
Vertical Stairs [VS] have not commenced factory production. The only VS in existence are my own personal ladders in an opal mine shaft in Lightning Ridge – and some aluminium prototypes hand made by the boys in the factory workshop, who wanted to “see what it looked like” – and have a climb!INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS – THE PATENTS
